Introduction to The Artist’s Way

Hosted by Hamilton Public Library, this three-session workshop series offers an introduction to Julia Cameron’s timeless guide to creative rediscovery, “The Artist’s Way.”
You will practice some of the exercises and tasks laid out in the book, and discuss the role creativity plays in all our lives. This workshop is not about writing well; it’s about using writing for well-being. Please note this event will be held at the Waterdown Branch in person; masks are not required but recommended.
Led by Carolyn Grisold, who holds an MA in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on reflexive writing, and is a candidate for MSc Creative Writing for Therapeutic Purposes.

This special event is part of a series of reflexive writing workshops facilitated by professional writer Carolyn Grisold, M.A. Carolyn is a graduate of The Humber School for Writers and holds a B.A. in English Literature and a Master’s of Arts degree focused on Reflexive Writing. She recently completed a Post-Graduate Certificate in Creative Writing for Therapeutic Purposes in Bristol, U.K. Carolyn resides in Hamilton, Ontario, and calls England her second home.
