Thirty Bench Winery hosts two lovely events in June

Saturday & Sunday, June 9 & 10

12 noon to 5 pm

How does great wine, delicious food, and fantastic music, all in the beautiful setting of the Beamsville Bench sound to you? Graze the Bench is a premier event for wine, food and music lovers. 7 great wineries are paired with 7 great Chefs and 7 great bands.

Visit the vineyards at Thirty Bench Wine Makers, one of the prettiest spots on the Beamsville Bench, to sip on two signature wines, 2009 Thirty Bench Red and the 2011 Thirty Bench Riesling. Paired with the wines, enjoy Thai-inspired quinoa salad, shrimp or chicken satays with house made sriracha and peanut sauce, while enjoying jazz by the Suzanne Ramsay Trio.

This is an event not to be missed by any wine, food or music lover.

Oysters + Rieslings – Oh My!

Saturday, June 16th

12 noon to 5 pm

No need to head to the coast this summer, it’s coming to Thirty Bench for you. Tide & Vine Oyster Company is parking their “Shuck Truck” overlooking Thirty Bench’s Riesling vineyards. Stop by for an oyster and a glass of wine, as they’ll be shucking and pouring all afternoon. Oysters offered at market price and wine will be served by the glass.

Also – join the 1 pm or 3 pm Oyster + Riesling Seminar led by Winemaker Emma Garner and Mike Langley, one of Canada’s Best Oyster Shuckers. This spirited tasting will include 4 oysters and 4 award-winning Rieslings. Space is limited so be sure to reserve your place at the table asap.

Graze the Bench is $25 (plus tax) per person (includes a collector’s glass, a 5 oz glass of wine and food pairing at one participating winery)
